Did you recognize it? The story behind the A Day in Comporta logo:
For the creation of the logo, I had the pleasure of collaborating with my friend André Romão, who designed the typography, and a young and talented illustrator, Joana Molho, who drew the Comporta church.
This illustration is part of a much larger project: Joana created a map of the Comporta region (which I will have the pleasure of revealing very soon!). Naturally, this beautiful building found its place as the "O" in Comporta.
Beyond its religious and wedding-related symbolism, the Comporta church is a typically Portuguese building, recognizable by its architecture and blue outlines.
You’ll have the chance to see this church again—whether for a wedding or simply because I often pass by it during my walks through the village!
